World Series!

So recently I've become a newfound baseball fan... and look who won!

I used to make fun of sports until I realized that it really is a good way to unify people and have a sense of accomplishment for your home team. It's pretty sweet. Unfortunately, now that baseball season is over I'm going to have to learn about football... and our home team sucks. Represent.

When do you want to go?

I'm stealing everyone I love and going back to this place.

I'm pretty sure living in Málaga is a definite possibility.

Here we go again.

Dear Blogger,

While I've neglected you, I have accomplished so many things! Instead of using up about twelve hours of your time worth of writing out my erratic thoughts, how about I just make a list for you?

1. I lived in Spain. Yeah, I really did. Remember when I always talked about it? It actually happened. I studied at la Universidad de Málaga for a month, and I met people from all over the world. It was the best experience of my life, so maybe I'll tell you about it sometime.

2. I have grown into a more independent individual. I never could say that about myself until now. I can finally say that I am proud of myself and the person that I am becoming. I have so much in my life to look forward to, and I am liking these changes.

3. I've lost twenty-five pounds since I've talked to you last. It may be because of Spain, or it may be because of stress and lack of eating... but it happened. Thanks.

4. I moved into the best house with some amazing people. My roommates are completely awesome, and I can do cartwheels in my closet and then go take bubble bath in my jacuzzi bathtub. I feel like a spoiled little princess living here. I even have a garage door opener. Not kidding. I was pretty excited about it. Don't judge me.

5. I met a guy. Well, not really recently met. I met him a long time ago. But I'm getting to know a guy, how's that? Maybe you'll get to meet him sometime. He's pretty awesome.

So, now that we're all caught up, maybe I can start writing about fun stuff! I think I'll save this space for talking about traveling (which, in fact, I'm getting pretty good at by the way!), photography, and just ramblings about daily life if I feel like it.

I'm glad I started talking to you again, Blogger.

Hasta luego,
Mel
